Oil Cooler Kit by Mishimoto®. True to form, the BMW engineers designed the M3/M4's oil cooler with efficient space use in mind. Suspended perpendicular from the rest of the cooling stack, this location utilizes the Bimmer's aerodynamics in order to cool the oil, all while putting the lightweight, tube-and-fin cooler in harm's way of road hazards. Mishimoto made sure to beef up the entire oil cooling system design for the F80/82 with our performance oil cooler. We ditched the lightweight design for a full aluminium, TIG-welded bar-and-plate cooler for added strength and cooling. The bars and plates are a much more robust form of heat exchanger core construction intended for improved heat transfer and have the strength to shrug off potential road debris, keeping your oil temps down and where it should be. We also added 10mm to the core's thickness, equating in a 46% increase in core volume, and increased the oil capacity by .42 liters. Specially designed for your car, the Mishimoto oil cooler is a direct fit and can be installed in under two hours! Mounted behind the front bumper, the Mishimoto Oil Cooler Kit drops engine oil temperatures over 20 degrees.
